Comfy, Functional, and Affordable

Wrap: Victoria's, Boots: Rocket Dog, Satchel: Urban Outfitters,  Necklace: The Style Shop at FIT, Shirt: Kirra by PacSun

This outfit contains some of my favorite pieces in my closet. My absolute favorite bag is this satchel from Urban Outfitters. Since it's a crossbody it lets me roam around the city with my arms free to handle an umbrella or hot chocolate or whatever else I might be carrying around. At a price of $60 dollars I wouldn't have normally bought it, but it was SO cute and my best friend Gabe had given me a $25 gift card so it made it more affordable. My sister bought me these Rocket Dog knee high boots on Black Friday for only $19.99. They're great in the winter with leggings or jeans and I can't wait to wear them in the summer with some denim shorts. The wrap is from Victoria's I bought it for $19.99 during the Semi-Annual Sale in January. I actually ordered it in grey, but when I pulled it out of the box I saw they sent me a green one. I ended up liking the green and was happy about the mishap. Their next Semi-Annual sale is scheduled for June or July FYI :) Lastly, I borrowed this long necklace from my mom's jewelry box. She got it from The Style Shop at the Fashion Institute of Technology. If you're ever in NYC and looking for a little boutique with a lot of treasures be sure to check it out. I plan on writing a post all about the shop soon!

Shoedazzle Saves The Day With Size 5.5 Shoes!

Being 5 foot nothing and wearing size 5.5 shoe is not always easy. It's so challenging to find stores that actually carry my size. I've tried wearing a size 6 and stuffing cotton balls in the toe part of the shoe- don't try it, it doesn't work. When looking online to find shoes in my correct size I came across the site Shoedazzle offers a personalized shopping experience where shoppers take a shoe and style survey to see what their taste is like. The website then creates a showroom of shoes, handbags, and jewelry for you based on your answers to the survey. The site carries many different styles of merchandise and really has something to offer every one. As of right now I only have one warning- make sure you view photos of the handbags with a model in them. I found that the photos of just the bag itself, gave me a misleading impression of the size of the bag. There is also a social networking aspect to the site where you can connect through Facebook and view your friends' and others' showrooms. The best part about this site is that there is free shipping and return shipping and everything is just $39.95. Check out Shoedazzle's "How it Works" video for more information. Here are some of my favorite items on the site right now that I am thinking about buying. This will be my first time buying from Shoedazzle, so please let me know if you've bought from the site and what you thought about the merchandise you received.

Fur, Sparkles, and Sophistication

Fur, Sparkles, and Sophistication

Fur, Sparkles, and Sophistication by briana-stiles featuring a cocoon cardigan

Fur accents are really in style this season. I recently ordered this slouchy cardigan from I love it because the fur part is detachable, so I can wear it in future seasons if fur goes out of style. I also really like this bag from It's the perfect size and it looks similar to the Hamilton Satchel by Michael by Michael Kors, but it's only $34.90. Definitely check out if you haven't already. They have a lot of cute stuff at great prices. Last week I bought a nail polish similar to this one, but mine is Nicole by OPI and it's called "The Next CEO". It's a light shimmer gold color that goes with whatever you wear.
